I Am So Lucky! XD

Yes I have been a very lucky person this week

To start off, on Saturday, I was freaking out because my Betta's, Achilles and Atlas, were not...well, where they were supposed to be. They live in a divided tank with Goliath, Atlas being on the left, Achilles in the middle, Goliath on the right.

Well, I was horribly busy that day, since my bother was graduating, so I could only go in and feed them and that was it.

Well, Achilles and Atlas decided they wanted to have fun.



Thanks for stressing me out boys. I thought one of the MANY MANY guests came into my room and decided to switch them around. I freaked out for a bit, then went back downstairs.

Came back an hour or so later to this....



And they weren't mauling each other why???????

Yes, first reaction seeing them together and not torn to shreds was to take a picture XDD

Achilles I don't think knows that Atlas is another male Betta xDD And if he does, he sure as heck did not care. He was acting his normal, hyper self and running into Atlas trying to get my attention in front of the tank as always. Atlas got really annoyed and swam to the back corner of the tank, trying to get through the divider again. I think Achilles was stalking him HemusthavealittlemancrushonAtlaslol Now I know that Achilles is totally fine with other fish...and apparently other male betta's.

No one was hurt thankfully when this happened. Both fish were completely fine, no bite marks or anything. If Achilles decided he wanted to visit Goliath...it would probably be a whole different story Thenagain,GoliathisamajorwussandhideshimselfeverytimeAchillessayshitohimthroughthedividerhaha

My friend has a whole tank full of betta's. 20 girls...and two males. Tama and Steel. (I name all his fish XD) They are buds, which is SO WEIRD. They hang out with each other, sleep next to each other,eat together... they don't even flare at the girls or at each other.

They are so weird.

Well, now onto Sunday and Monday.

I am getting myself a free 20 gallon tank I put and ad on craiglist, looking for a fish tank for my goldfish. The owners of the tank were moving, so just wanted to get rid of it...then they told me it already had fish in it

So I am getting more fish probably tomorrow. Yaaayyy.

So, I was worrying on where I would put my goldfish if I was going to get this 20 gallon with  fish already in it.

Then my Dad came to the rescue.

See, its weird. My Dad HATES my tanks. Mostly just because all the plugs in the wall. And all the fish. I think my Grandma doesn't like them either when she comes to visit. Family calls me a "fish horder," but a big majority of them share a tank...meh.

I went to Petsmart yesterday. I was looking on the sale stuff when my Dad said, "Oh I have  something for you when we get back to the car." I was all "kay" and when we went back to his truck, he gave me this number.

"Tell David (Davianna) to call that number and pick up that stuff, your Grandma found it on the mail box in her apartment."

It was an ad for FREE fish tank stuff, and they apparently lived next door to my friend.

I didn't expect what would happen after that.

I texted Davianna, told him to call and so he did.

He later called me freaking out, saying that he picked up everything. Which included,

One MONSTER of an Oscar fish, 2 60 gallon fish tanks, 1 30/25 gallon, 1 tank vacuum, 4 filters, 1 heather, a TON of rocks and a couple accessories.

He stayed up till midnight cleaning the 60 gallon the Oscar named Micheal, lived in. Apparently the water was black and the poor boy was near death. When my Dad heard about him, he got all excited thinking that he was gonna drop him off at my house to give to me XDDD He was not happy when I told him that the Oscar was David's and not mine, since I would then need to make more space for a 60 gallon.   Poor guy is so scared of everyone...but me it seems XD I came up to his tank and he swimmed right up to me. He was soooo cute.

BUT. I did get all the filters, since my friend was going to just get rid of them. I don't know what to do with them. Most are for 20 gallons and up. I may sell em' I also got the heater and all the tank accessories. And of coarse....*drum roll*

I have some really happy goldfish right now But Orlando and Lolita have now been moved to another table. So sad.

While putting Mustachio, my test goldfish in with the others, my friend got her fins caught in the net. Had to cut the net, the fish is fine, a bit bloody because she was trying to rip out of it, but fine. Net though...has seen the light XDD Lucky the fish lived, unlucky that my only net died

But now, I still have another 20 gallon coming...what am I gonna do with that? I will probably give it to my friend, since her birthday is today and her betta's currently live in really tiny bowls.
